Institute for Developmental Education & Action (IDEA) is a state level non- profit organization and came into existence in the year 1991 and it was registered under the society Registration Act 1860 in the year 1992. Since 1991 this organization has been working for the integrated development of the rural poor people and marginalized section of the society. Its presence is East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj and Sheohar Districts of Bihar.
IDEA have implemented successfully many project in different sector which includes Livelihood, Health, Education, Nutrition & Rehabilitation,, Training program and Advocacy etc with the help of different type of national and international agencieies like Ministry of Environment and Forest, Ministry of Youth affairs and sports, Ministry of Human Resource development, National AIDS Control Organization, National Child Labour Project, NABARD, Rastriya Gramin Vikas Nidhi, S.D Tata Trust, European Commission, UNICEF, Lutheran World Relief USA, SIDA Sweden, USAID, DFID, TDH- Germany, Micro-Nutrient Initiative, NOVIV- Neatherland and Geneva Global- USA, MAMTA-HIMC, New Delhi, DFIT and many others donor agencies.
